Privacy Policy
67 Camera · Last updated: 04.10.2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the 67 Camera application ("App") handles user information. By installing or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.
1. Information We Collect
The App does not require registration: an anonymous account is created automatically on first launch, and you may optionally link an email to it. Depending on how you use the App, the following types of data may be collected:
- Device information: such as device model, operating system version, app version, and crash reports.
- Usage data: interactions within the App (for example, how often you open it), collected for analytics and performance improvements.
- Content you send: messages, photos, videos, voice messages and the location you choose to send inside the App, and the profile details you choose to provide. They are processed to generate the AI character's replies (see section 4).
The App does not request access to sensitive information unless explicitly stated in future updates.
2. How We Use Information
We use the collected data only to:
- Provide the core chat experience and generate replies.
- Improve app stability and performance.
- Understand general usage trends to make the App better.
- Detect and fix technical issues.
We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Third-Party Services
The App may use third-party tools (for example, the push notification services of your device's platform, Firebase Analytics, crash reporting tools and, where the App shows ads, advertising networks). These services may collect and process data as described in their own privacy policies.
4. Third-Party AI Services
The AI character's replies are generated by third-party AI services. To generate them, the App sends the content you choose to send in chats (text, photos, videos, voice messages and shared location), the profile details you provide, what the character remembers about you from previous messages, and the text of your speech during voice calls (your phone converts speech to text) to:
- OpenRouter (openrouter.ai), which forwards each request to the provider of the AI model that generates the reply (for example Google, OpenAI, Mistral, Alibaba (Qwen) or DeepSeek);
- AssemblyAI (assemblyai.com), which converts voice messages and the audio of videos to text.
This data is used only to generate replies and to describe the media you send. These providers process it according to their own terms and privacy policies. Where required (for example, on iOS), the App asks for your explicit consent before sending any of this data.
5. Data Retention
We keep collected information only as long as necessary to provide and improve the App. Non-personal usage data may be stored for analytical purposes.
6. Deleting Your Account and Your Data
You can delete your account and all data associated with it directly in the App: Settings → Account → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and permanent. You can also delete individual messages in a chat with a long press.
If you cannot open the App, you can ask us to delete the account and its data, or to delete your data while keeping an empty account, on a public page: Delete account and data.
7. Children's Privacy
This App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. If you believe your child has provided such data, please contact us and we will delete it.
8. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect information processed by the App.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page or on the store listing.
Camera and photos
The App requests access to the device camera — it is the core of the game. Recognition of the digits runs entirely on your device: the live camera preview is analysed locally and is never streamed to our servers.
A photo leaves your device only for the shots you take. Such a photo is saved to your device gallery and sent to our servers so that it can appear in the shared feed of catches. If the device is offline, the photo waits in a queue on the device and is uploaded later.
- We store the image itself, the moment of publication and the anonymous account that took it.
- We do not attach your location to the photo and do not extract it from the image.
- Please do not photograph other people, documents or anything you would not want to be seen publicly — a published catch is visible to all players.
Shared feed and moderation
Every uploaded photo is created with the status "pending" and is visible only to its author. It appears in the shared feed only after a moderator approves it. Photos that are not approved are not shown to other users.
Any player can report a photo in the feed. A report puts the photo back into the moderation queue for a repeated review. Photos rejected by a moderator are removed from the feed.
You can ask us to delete your catches and the data associated with your device by writing to the support email below.
