These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the SCP-1471 MalO application ("App"). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
The App provides an entertainment AI-companion messaging experience. The AI character and its messages are fictional and generated automatically; they are not real people and must not be treated as professional advice (medical, legal, financial or otherwise).
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the App.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the App for unlawful purposes, to harass others, or to attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service.
4. Content
Content generated by the AI is provided "as is" for entertainment. We are not responsible for the accuracy or appropriateness of automatically generated content.
5. Advertising and Purchases
The App may show advertising and offer optional rewarded content. Any purchases are processed by the respective app store.
6. Disclaimer and Liability
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the App.
7. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Premium subscription
The App offers an optional auto-renewable subscription ("Premium"). Premium removes advertising, removes the limit on free messages and lets the AI character answer with more capable models. The price and the billing period (weekly or monthly) are shown in the App before you confirm the purchase.
Payment is charged to your Google Play or Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
You can manage the subscription and turn off auto-renewal at any time in the subscription settings of Google Play or of your Apple ID. Cancelling stops future renewals; Premium stays available until the end of the period you have already paid for.
If a free trial or an introductory price is offered, it is shown before the purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Refunds are handled by Google Play or Apple according to their policies.
A subscription is linked to the store account it was purchased with. If you reinstall the App or start a new contact with the character, use "Restore purchases" (the App also does this automatically) to move Premium to your current profile.
